Upcoming Classes
 Regional Referee
Everyone wishing to referee in AYSO 154 must be at least "Regional Referee" certified. Certification is given upon successful completion of the "Basic" referee course. This course is designed to teach our volunteers the 17 Laws of the Game and those guidelines in the U6, U8, U10 divisions unique to our Region. We offer multiple classes to help facilitate your schedule. There will be two (2) ALL DAY classes. And three weeks of two session courses. You have the option of attending either a Monday or Thursday night and then on of the half day Saturdays.

- ALL IN ONE DAY COURSE:
**Saturday, August 7...8am - 5pm...ALL DAY class (lunch will be served)
**Saturday, August 28 ...8am - 5pm...ALL DAY class (lunch will be served)
- 2 SESSION COURSE:
MONDAY NIGHT
**Class 1: Monday, Aug 9...6:30pm - 9:30pm
**Class 1: Monday, Aug 16...6:30pm - 9:30pm
**Class 1: Monday, Sept 13...6:30pm - 9:30pm
THURSDAY NIGHT
**Class 1: Thursday, Aug 12...6:30pm - 9:30pm
**Class 1: Thursday, Aug 19...6:30pm - 9:30pm
**Class 1: Thursday, Sept 16...6:30pm - 9:30pm
TAKE ANY OF THE SIX (6) CLASSES ABOVE AND ONE OF THESE SATURDAY CLASSES
**Class 2: Saturday, Aug 14...8am - 1:30pm
**Class 3: Saturday, Aug 21...8am - 1:30pm
**Class 3: Sunday, Sept 19...8am - 1:30pm
BASIC REFEREE CERTIFICATION WILL BE EARNED WITH THE COMPLETION OF PART 1 AND PART 2 OF THE COURSE OR THE ALL DAY COURSE!
 Intermediate Referee
The Intermediate Referee course is for those individuals looking to referee a better game at the U12 level. This course should only be taken if you are already a certified referee. It consits of 2 days, with most of the time in the classroom, but some time spent outdoors. (February 27 - 28,2010). Lunch is provided both days. The course will be in Region 94 - La Habra. Region 154 - Cypress will reimburse you for the cost of the course, after you take the course, and show proof of passing. Send an e-mail to Joel Nelson, to request a flyer for this course.
 Advanced Referee

Returning Ref Meetings
There will be two (2) returning referee meetings. They will be on Wednesday, Sept 1, and Thursday, Sept 9th. These will both be held at Arnold Elementary (on Denni, just north of Orange).
Referee Misconduct Report
Referee Misconduct Report
All referees that either give a yellow or red card, or eject a coach or spectator from a game MUST fill out the Misconduct Report. After you have filled it out completely, print the form, & contact Joel Nelson. Joel needs this form ASAP (NO LATER THAN THE TUESDAY AFTER THE GAME). Filling out the back of the game card is not sufficient enough. We must have documentation for every card given out, & every coach/spectator ejected.
